Questions (Critical Thinking) For Possibility Of Evil

1) Why do you think the author wrote the text? I think the author wrote the text because she wanted to make you really think about all the different kinds of evil out in the world. That it doesn't matter if you a little old lady, you still might not be innocent,

2) What does the author want you to think? I think that the author wants you to think about all the wrongs people can do in the world. She wants you to think about evil in the world, that evil comes in all different ways of facing us in our everyday life

3) Do you belong to any of the groups in the text? Yes, I kinda belong with Miss Strangeworth how she writes letters to people. When i get upset with someone i will write them a letter telling them how i feel about them at the time, I will get all of my evil emotions out onto the paper, and once i finish the letter i will put it in the paper shredder so no one will ever see it again.

4) Does the story remind of a real life event (your own or others) This story reminds me of a time me and my mom and my dad made a snow man at winter time and in the morning when we woke up someone smashed him for no reason. I believe that is a type of evil, and that was the best snowman i have ever seen. We gave him arms and feet, and fingers and toes.

5) Does the story remind you of another book or movie on a similar topic? No not exactly but I'm sure there is a book or movie out there similar to this one.

6) How does the story help you think about social issues or social justice? It help me think about socail justice because evil is all around us in the world.

7) What action might you take from what you have learned? I have learned to not send rude letters to people.

8) What big question has this text left you with? Why is there so much evil in our world?
