b) Biography (of the author): Kurt was born on November 11th, 1922. in Indianapolis, indiana. Kurt is considered one of the most influenced novel writers of the twentieth century. Kurt has blended literature and humour together in his novels.
c) Symbol: This picture symbolizes all of the same thing in a crowd, and there is one person sticking out of the crowd that will be killed because they are different.
d) Response:
1) What parts in the story is most exaggerated? The most exaggerated parts of the story are when the ballerina comes out wearing a mask, and Georges and Hazel notice her rare beauty.
2) What do Georges and Hazels reactions at the end of the story reveal about the quality of life in their society? If they show that they can be different they get killed, they forgot everything that happened.
3) What would you expect a society to be like if everyone was equal? I think our society would be very evil, because everyone would be the same so everyone would be bored of everyone els, all it would cause is violence
4) What is the purpose of handicapping in sports? Its to show that it doesn't matter who you are, how you act, or how you look we can all do the same thing and be the same at all the same levels in life.
