d) Response:
1) Is charlotte right for blaming herself for Miss Hancocks death? No, because what happens in life happens for a reson, yes if charlotte would have talked to miss Hancock for 10 minutes the bus would have been gone, but things happen for a reson and you should never blame yourself because the person who died would not have wanted you to do that.
2) what recommendations would you make to a teacher from moving to junior high to seior high? I would tell them to maybe change their teaching skills up a little bit because the older kids are going to be harder to handle in atitude wise then younger kids.
3) what do you think was the authors main purpose for writing this story? I think that the author might have liked metaphors, because she liked to put them in her story. The author's purpose could have been that a situation like this has happend to them in a similar way so they felt the need to write about it.
4) describe two people that have influenced you in the years you have been in school using similes. Mr. Bryson is like a clown that waddles down the hall smiling at everyone he passes.
My dad is like a gorilla climbing the tree to his banana to eat it for lunch.
